  18. The enclosed utilities spreadsheet may be of interest to one or two of 
  19. your subscribers.  Its a file I produced as an exercise to try out the 
  20. PipeDream spreadsheet when I first bought the package.

  22. It gives an ongoing account of usage and cost of Electricity and Gas 
  23. used from day to day by just entering the present meter readings. The 
  24. all important line is number 41. This obviously needs to be changed at 
  25. the end of a month to the exact number of days in that month. The 
  26. formula, day(today), then has to be entered into the next month's 
  27. column, together with the previous month's meter readings. For most 
  28. domestic users there will only be one electricity meter to read and the 
  29. spreadsheet can be adjusted accordingly. The prices shown are correct, 
  30. at time of writing, for my own area which is Eastern Electricity and 
  31. British Gas Southern. These prices would need to be checked for other 
  32. areas.  The spreadsheet will fit neatly onto A4 size paper using 
  33. condensed cpi 17 pitch.
