- The enclosed utilities spreadsheet may be of interest to one or two of
- your subscribers. Its a file I produced as an exercise to try out the
- PipeDream spreadsheet when I first bought the package.
-
- It gives an ongoing account of usage and cost of Electricity and Gas
- used from day to day by just entering the present meter readings. The
- all important line is number 41. This obviously needs to be changed at
- the end of a month to the exact number of days in that month. The
- formula, day(today), then has to be entered into the next month's
- column, together with the previous month's meter readings. For most
- domestic users there will only be one electricity meter to read and the
- spreadsheet can be adjusted accordingly. The prices shown are correct,
- at time of writing, for my own area which is Eastern Electricity and
- British Gas Southern. These prices would need to be checked for other
- areas. The spreadsheet will fit neatly onto A4 size paper using
- condensed cpi 17 pitch.
